John Williams to Score ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ and ‘Indiana Jones 5’

The prolific, legendary composer John Williams has revealed that he will be returning for the next installments of both iconic franchises. This continues Williams’ long-time collaboration with directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Steven Spielberg confirmed to Scott Mantz that Williams would return for a fifth go-round scoring the adventures of Dr. Jones.

Indiana Jones will return to the big screen on July 19, 2019. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will produce. In a career spanning over six decades, Williams has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history, including Jaws, the Star Wars series, Superman, the Indiana Jones series, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,Jurassic Park, and the first three Harry Potter films.
